Although the graphics have been improved (including, of course, the obligatory sex scenes that qualify the game as a Hentai title), gameplay unfortunately suffers from extreme linearity and way too many pointless combat sequences. Xentar deserves recognition as the first PC game ever made with a voluntary 17+ rating (before ESRB ratings were compulsory). Your quest will take you through the vast realms of Xentar, encountering numerous demons and voluptuous women on the way. It's just your basic save-the-world plot with new names-nothing special here. In this fantasy story, you play Desmond, a knight who is tasked with defeating "Child of Darkness" to fulfill ancient prophecy. Knights of Xentar is the second Hentai RPG from MegaTech that features better graphics than Cobra Mission, but unfortunately much inferior gameplay.
